Bacteria Hunt

 

In Science Lab, we went on a bacteria hunt!

 

We took samples from many different places, such as the soles of shoes, door handles, and even our own mouths.

 

Analyzing how much bacteria has grown!

 

 

At the end of the lesson, Mrs. Whalen gave the students some ways to fight bacteria!  Hopefully, you will see less eating off of the floor and more hand washing!

Early Civilization Projects

In Social Studies the past couple of weeks, we have been studying about early civilizations in our world.

 

The students received a list of six projects to choose from.  Some of those included building a ziggurat, desiging a scroll, painting a scene from that era, and creating a gameboard.  I was very impressed with the creativity that the students showed.
